| Summary | We all know the first Rashi in Parshas Behar but you might not have heard this beautiful vort from the Chida. Touching words followed from the Beis Yisroel that brochos do not just come as a result of Shemitta observance but all Yomim Tovim especially when we feel "Oh - isn't Yom Tov just so expensive - how will we manage?!" - comes Hashem and says "Vetzvisi es Birchosi"! Inspiring words from the Ramban and Vilna Goan followed in relation to Emunah and Bitachon. The highlight however, was undoubtedly a fascinating Maharal who explains that there are 3 levels in Emunah - and these are hinted in the 3 times that the Torah mentions an expression of Emunah, once at Yetzias Mitzrayim, once at Krias Yam Suf and once at Har Sinai. The Rambam takes this a step further. Further words of the Maharal followed in relation to the Sholosh Regolim and also the Ovois and Imohois. Tones of Mussar followed thereafter with ideas from the Chofetz Chaim and Reb Yeruchem, today's Shiur really has it all, you would be ill advised to miss this one...! |
