| Summary | Rabbi Marmorstein sought to create a connection between Lag Be'Omer and Parshas Behar. We must live our lives with the internalisation that Hashem is the King and the Owner of everything we have. This is very much linked with 'Bein Odom Lachaveiroy'. He quoted a beautiful vort in relation to the last posuk of Shir Hashirim - "Death is as strong as love" - which, on the face of it, could not be further from the truth?! But love and Bein Odom Lachaveiroy are so powerful and so inevitable in transforming lives, that they are, by their very essence, just as "certain" as death is, in doing what it does! Rav Dessler brings a remarkable Zohar in Parshas Bolok and this was followed by a beautiful interpretation (by Reb Nachmon of Breslov) of the famous Possuk in Tehillim - Tefillo LeOni.. |
