| Summary | Reb Yitzchok Shlit"a enlightened us today with some warming 'Pesach Pearls' to take away with us. The Sedros relating to the exodus lend themselves to many seeming discrepancies and/or repetitions, which were all 'catered for' during the course of the Shiur. We were first treated to a classic Beis Halevi, taken from Parshas Lech Lecha, who explains that whilst Hashem does "His bit" it is then up to us to do what we have to do. He says this based upon the famous dialogue that took place between Rebbe and Antoninus wherein Rebbe gave him the Moshol of a wheat field. A beautiful Reb Yitzchok Hutner zt"l followed which highlighted a difference between the war with Amalek and that with the Egyptians. Amazing stories followed, one with the Apter Rov and one with Reb Shlomo Zalman zt"l. The Shiur then veered toward the concept of Tefillah Betzibur and why this is so much more powerful than individual prayer, concluding with words from Rav Dessler zt"l. |
