Summary | Listen to the ever so popular "Reb Shlomo" Shlit"a as he embarks upon a powerful Shiur with regards to our duty to guard our speech. He started off with a powerful Gemara in Taanis about who did have - and did not have - the power to daven for rain, based on certain character traits. This was followed by beautiful insights of Reb Mordechai Miller and the Netziv. The central theme of the Shiur revolved around the Chazal that those who travel to do a Mitzvah will befall no harm. Additionally, those who "go against the norm" for example to forgo and forgive even having been insulted, will also merit to be able to "move and shake the Heavens" even if this, too, appears "against the norm"! A touching idea followed by Reb Yankel Galinski zt"l on Megillas Esther. |
