| Summary | Rabbi Lieberman discussed Halachos concerning Kiddush, beginning with some differences between Friday Night kiddush and Shabbos morning kiddush. Several opinions of the Rishonim were explored as to why Shabbos morning kiddush is referred to as "Kiddusha Rabba" (did you ever wonder that one yourself?!) Certain points were raised as to why Shabbos morning kiddush might even be more "important" than Friday night kiddush. Listen to an interesting Chumra of the Brisker Rav. This was followed by a Taz - am I really allowed to make Kiddush on "Schnapps"? The Shiur was concluded with a beautiful Meshech Chochmah concerning Parshas Nozir in this Sedra - again wine-related...! |
