A gorgeous vort from the Chanukas Hatorah to explain why the Shira is in this week's Sedra of Beshalach - as opposed to last week, when they actually left Mitzrayim. A classic Ramban at the end of Parshas Bo was undoubtedly the centrepiece, with fundamentals highlighted in connection with how Hashem runs the world with unparalleled precision and mercy and is Master of all. Mention must also be made of Reb Dov Sternbuch who comments that the Shira was not a "one-time-event" but is rather like a souvenir, which is holding strong throughout the generations - miss this Shiur at your peril...! |
