| Summary | Rabbi Wolberg Shlit"a discussed the juxtaposition of the Meraglim and Korach. The Shiur was built around the apparent contradiction that faces us when we learn through the Parsha. On the one hand, Korach seems to want himself and 250 people to all be Kohaim - but on the other hand, from the retort of "Madua Tisnaseu Al Kehal Hashem" it implies that Korach was against the idea of a whole "Kohanim hierachy"? Several ideas of the Alter Rebbe zt"l were thereafter explored. A moving story involving Reb Mendel Futtervasser and a pious Chossid followed. The second part of the Shiur turned into more "Pilpul" style with a Ketzos and a Pri Chadash in relation to the topic of whether a Koton can have ownership of Matnois Kehuna. An Or Zorua and a Targum Yoinoson Ben Uziel wrapped up a really action-packed Shiur! |
